MEDIA ACCREDITATION APPLICATION FORM 2026
Instructions regarding a media access request – OSHEAGA 2026Accreditation request – Step 1By completing this form, you are indicating your interest in submitting a media accreditation request. This is the first step of the evaluation process: all applications received will then be reviewed.
IMPORTANT: If your media outlet includes several team members, the application must be submitted by ONE designated representative responsible for the entire organization. This person will manage all individual requests for the team.
Once your application has been reviewed, if your media outlet is approved, you will receive a dedicated link allowing you to submit individual accreditation requests for each member of your team directly through the accreditation system. (STEP 2)
Please read the following information before completing the accreditation form.
1- Limited number of accreditations- We receive a high volume of coverage requests for OSHEAGA and, unfortunately, are unable to approve them all. Please note that only Arts & Entertainment-oriented media outlets providing editorial coverage of the festival will be considered. To be eligible for media accreditation, you must be ON ASSIGNMENT from an accredited news publication with confirmed coverage plans. Assignments will be verified with your editor if necessary. Accreditation is granted based on your publication's reach, coverage plan, and audience alignment with the event.
- Freelance journalists and photographers will not be considered for personal websites or portfolio use. Accreditation will not be granted to media, photo, or video production companies looking to provide content for their websites.
- Web media/blogs: Due to the very limited number of spots available, please help us evaluate your request by clearly outlining the type of coverage you plan to provide and your number of visitors/ subscribers. We may request your Google Analytics data.
2- Festival coverage- To submit an accreditation request, you must have already published or announced coverage of the festival dates.
- If your accreditation is approved, you will be required to provide all coverage links following the festival.
Please submit your request no later than June 1, 2026.
Late, incomplete, or last-minute applications will not be accepted.
